Releases: PokemonAutomation/ComputerControl
Version 0.34.5
- Added Sandwich Maker. (credit to kichithewolf)
- Herb mode for egg programs is now able to find the herbs from your inventory rather than requiring you to hard-code their locations. (credit to Gin)
- Added Turbo Macro making your own button macros. (credit to Icaroto who made this long ago and only enabled publicly now)
- More fixes to the tournament farmer. (reported by Felix#0799, Eleetment#9755, EmrysLee#4845)
- Fixes to the stats reset. (reported by Eleetment#9755)
- Relaxed some menu delays for SwSh. (reported by Sredder658#3647)
- Various stability improvements.
Flagship for this release is kichithewolf's sandwich maker. For now it's just a standalone program, but you can guess what we intend to do with it in the near future. Please try it out and let us know if there are any issues.
Version 0.33.2
Introducing the Area Zero Platform bot. This is the first (and hopefully not the last) of the SV paradox hunting bots.
The concept here is similar to Blaines' video on the Flutter Mane glitch (https://youtu.be/5NeLVaE7t8c). That is, we abuse the fact that this specific platform in Area Zero is just large enough to spawn things indefinitely, yet just small enough that few things can walk far enough to despawn. Thus by sending out your lead Pokémon in Let's Go, it will kill off everything that's not shiny - leaving behind only the shinies which will eventually wander close enough to battle you where the program will be able to detect it.
This bot covers 9 of the 14 paradox mons - which up until now, could not be shiny hunted with automation since they cannot be bred:
- Great Tusk
- Scream Tail
- Brute Bonnet
- Flutter Mane
- Iron Treads
- Iron Bundle
- Iron Hands
- Iron Jugulis
- Iron Valiant (requires sandwich)
Like the SwSh and BDSP encounter bots, it supports auto-catching. Though be aware that you will need a specially built lead Pokémon to be able to wall anything you might encounter. (read the wiki for recommendations)
For those of you who have been following our developments, this program has existed for quite a while now. It took many weeks to develop and test, then held back to see what patch version 1.2 would do to it. (fortunately, the patch did nothing)
We are interested to see if the concept that this bot uses can be applied elsewhere as there are still 5 paradox mons that remain untouched by automation. 3 of these (Sandy Shocks, Iron Thorns, and Roaring Moon) seem unapproachable without full machine learning. Maybe if we draw some more attention to this, someone will find a way to cheese them as well.
As you all know, SV has proven itself to be extremely resistant to classic automation techniques. Virtually all methods of shiny hunting the past games have completely fallen flat. Even eggs, which are normally considered a safe bet, became a horrific mess involving sandwiches. Overall, the situation is so bad that in retrospect, even Legends Arceus feels like child's play. But while the automation community has taken a huge hit, we do seem to be faring better than other related technical communities such as the RNG community.
Version 0.32.4
Fixed another issue with connecting to the internet in patch 1.2. (reported by Phoenix Rising 🔥#5210)
Version 0.32.3
Preliminary fixes for patch 1.2. More may be needed as we continue testing.
- Auto-hosting should be fixed for patch 1.2. (reported by Phoenix Rising 🔥#5210)
- The program binary now has the server icon. (credit to Koi)
- More fixes to the tournament farmer. (reported by Pikawsome#5316)
Note that item cloning has been patched. So that program is effectively dead.
The way it has been patched is that if you have an active ride, selecting a ride clone in your party and "return to ride form" no longer overwrites the "master" copy of your ride.
What this means that if you update to 1.2, any existing ride in your party can never be returned to the master copy and is effectively lost.
So if you have BR'ed your ride clone, all changes to it from the last time you cloned an item will be lost. So I recommend cloning something using the latest version of your ride clone prior to updating to 1.2. And obviously, finish all your cloning before you update since you won't be able to clone anymore.
Version 0.31.17
Changes:
- New Discord integration framework using the D++ library*. (credit to Koi)
- Support for Discord Slash commands (via D++).
- Ace Tournament Farmer (credit to kichithewolf#5141)
- Added Jester's server icon to the program windows. (the binary itself still has no icon yet)
- SV egg hatching will now attempt to fix the rotated view.
- Connecting to the internet will attempt to dodge the news window in anticipation of game update v1.2. (obviously untested)
This is a relatively quiet release to migrate our Discord integration from Sleepy Discord to D++. If all goes well, there should be little to no observable changes.
We do not expect to do any more releases until after game update v1.2 where we expect things to break.
Based on the pre-release patch notes, the most likely things we expect to break with game version 1.2 are:
- Item cloning. If this gets patched, there's probably no fixing it.
- Egg programs will break if the new box features cause the existing menus and options to move.
- Auto-hosting will probably break if the fix to dodge the news window doesn't work as we expect it to.
Version 0.30.31
Changes:
- Tera Multi-Farmer now supports auto-hosting the remaining slots into a live-hosting channel.
- There is now an option to automatically start the Discord bot when launching the program. (credit to Koi)
- Egg Autonomous for all games (SwSh, BDSP, SV) now support nature filters. (credit to kichithewolf#5141)
- The program settings and stats file have been moved to a
UserSettings/
folder by default. (credit Kyle Undefined#0001) - Screenshots are now stored into a folder. (credit to Kyle Undefined#0001)
- (Hopefully) fixed an issue in Tera Multi-Farmer where joiners may mistaken the lobby as the rewards screen if the connection is slow enough. (reported by Jack Mutsers#2563)
- Fixed another box detection issue. (reported by Pixie#5043)
- Stability improvements to sandwich making for eggs.
- Stability improvements to PLA Outbreak Finder.
- Fix Tera Self Farmer not processing rare-item stop condition when catching is disabled. (reported by pistolcity#6723)
- Various stability improvements to the program itself.
The Tera Multi-Farmer is now effectively a multi-Switch auto-host. It has feature parity with the solo auto-host including bans, join tracking, and kill switch.
- If you are farming items (like herbs) with fewer than 4 Switches, you can throw it on live-hosting to share the remaining spots with others. For harder raids, this could make it faster if having other players help you win faster.
- For raids that are too difficult to auto-host with one player, you can now put multiple Switches on it with full move selection. Most raids are probably winnable with 2 carefully programmed hosts assuming all the joiners go idle.
Version 0.29.5
This is an unscheduled release to fix a number of critical bugs:
- Fixed a critical bug in Mass Release, Stats Reset, and Egg Autonomous where it may fail to detect the stats menu and mess it up for Pokemon with short names outside the Paldea-dex (i.e. Froakie).
- The Tera Self Farmer has been completely revamped. The 4 modes have been replaced with separate options for catching and stop conditions.
- The Tera Self Farmer now supports stopping on raids with high item rewards. (hunting for herb raids for hosting purposes)
- LP farming has been split out of the Tera Self Farmer into a separate program.
- Fixed a crash in multi-Switch programs if any of the Switches has a black border.
- Fixed a bug in Tera Multi-Farmer where Switches may desync and disconnect from each other if multiple Switches enter their moves at exactly the same time (within milliseconds of each other).
- Fixed a bug in Tera Multi-Farmer where it always waits out the wait command even if the battle ends while it is still waiting.
- Joining Switches in the Tera Multi-Farmer will retry incorrectly entered raid codes.
- Auto-host, Tera Self Farmer, and Tera Multi-Farmer should (in theory) be able to work on uncatchable raids. (untested, not that you'll win anyway lol)
Version 0.28.17
- Tera Multi-Farmer: A multi-Switch program where you can farm your own raid with 1-3 additional Switches.
- All Tera battling programs (auto-host, Tera farmers) now support pre-programmed move selection. So instead of mashing A to battle, you can now run a sequence of moves to setup before attacking.
- Mass Purchase: A new program to buy out a store. (credit to Vaedz#1011)
- Stats Reset: Reset the Treasures of Ruin legendaries for stats. (credit to kichithewolf#5141)
- Egg Autonomous now supports the use of herbs for level 3 sandwich.
- The program will now automatically check if there is a newer version.
- Fixed an issue where ESP, Stats Reset, and both Gimmighoul programs would allow keyboard controls (and break) when you clicked on and clicked away from the video.
- Various bug fixes to ESP Training.
- Fixed some issues when resetting games. (reported by valenpeep#2523)
- Fixed some UI glitching with the Video FCE.
- Improved V-FCE code recognition accuracy.
- Gimmighoul roaming farmer has a slightly improved date-spam.
- Improved stability of date spam. The chance of accidentally updating the Switch is now lower.
- SV Auto-host will now distinguish bans from the host's list vs. the global ban list.
- Most inference errors will now send notifications with screenshots.
Pre-programmed move selection will allow:
- Better auto-hosting of 5 and 6-star raids since the host can now do a sequence of setup moves instead of just spamming a single move.
- The Tera Multi-Farmer can be programmed to reliably beat 5 and 6-star raids. Thus you can automatically self-farm herbs if you set it up right.
A lot of stuff has changed in this release. In particular, the new programs have only been lightly tested. So please let us know if you see any issues!
Version v0.27.13
Fixed ride clone mode being broken for Egg Autonomous.
Version v0.27.12
Fixed a serious issue in code OCR where it may change the order of the characters.
