This maintains a global count up as it goes through each wiki, doesn't actually display the local edit count.

This should display individual wikis # of edits, and then have a global edits number at the bottom.

Hi! This was briefly discussed on Meta.

I'm open to rewording it for clarity, but we should be careful not to cause different confusion in the process. For example, the tool stops counting edits once you meet the requirement, so it doesn't show your global edit count. That's why it's specifically worded as "X edits so far", since it's only your count up to that point in the list.

Hello,

I admit this confused me for quite a while as well. The suggestion you had at Meta, to say "has 40 edits on this wiki, 290 total so far" sounds very good to me.

If you are concerned with the text being too long, maybe we can add an explanatory note above the result, but below all the listed wikis? Something along the lines of:

Note: Edit number listed above is total accumulated edit count, not number of edits the user has on each wiki.

I'd prefer the first solution though, as it is more noticeable, and less likely to cause confusion.
