Installation:______________________________________________
Ubuntu and other LINUX Distributions: Download the package freeDMS_install.tar.gz and unpack it anywhere on your computer. Open a terminal and navigate INto the unpacked directory into the folder /freeDMS_install. You should see the freeDMS-license, the read.me and the makefile there. Call the command "sudo make install" and enter your password.
After installation you schould find a new app 'CREATE A PROJECT' in your home directory. Doubleclick this to create a first project and follow the instructions. You then can safely remove all the downloaded and unpacked files and folders.
