Too many bookmarks #195
Comments
Hello @millette could you show a screenshot how that looks? Does it crash Anori or does it breaks UI so you can't click settings button? If the latter, you can try opening settings with Opt+S / Alt+S shortcut |
It just hangs there and once in a while chrome show the "exit page" or "wait" message box (something like that). Exit page doesn't and wait just waits and shows the message box again a little later. I will give the shortcut a try, thanks for the hint. I cropped the screenshot a bit to hide personnal info (thanks for the todo widget!): It's never able to finish loading (or at least, I didn't wait hours until it did...) At this point, I just want to remove the bookmark widget from my setup. |
I see :/ In separate issue you mentioned you downloaded backup and were checking it, were you able to disable it there? You should be able to unpack exported archive, edit |
No, since I can't get to settings page in anori. |
Oh, you're right, sorry. I'll try to fix that in the next version (don't know when exactly though) |
How many bookmarks (aprox.) you have? |
44794 :-) I'm a compulsive bookmarker, I need help, I know! |
Happy new year @OlegWock ! I just tried the newer version and it's still the same problem. I would really like to simply deactivate the bookmarks widget I added, if I knew where to look for my config. Thanks! |
Hello @millette. This should be fixed in 1.21.0, but it probably will take couple extra days to go through review process in stores |
I enabled the bookmarks widget, unfortunately I have way too many and it's now blocking Anori from working. I can't get to the settings to disable the bookmarks widget.
Is there a way I can disable that widget (Chrome on Linux) without loading anori? Perhaps thru the console, or even patching anori temporarely to disable the bookmarks widget?
Perhaps it could turn into a feature to prevent anyone else from having the same problem.
Thanks!
