I was having trouble installing and running EVEscape so I created a solution that will help everyone stay on the same page dependency wise.
I created a dev container setup and accompanying
requirements.txt
file such that anyone using VSCode can easily create a working python environment with a single button press. Therequirements.txt
file lists every required dependency that EVEscape needs to run and the.devcontainer
directory prepares a container with python 3.9 pre-installed.To run EVEscape with all necessary dependencies simply press the orange button in the bottom left corner of a project open within VSCode.
