In previous years it's been really great that material and examples have been uploaded as we go. Will these go in this repo? I assume we won't make the gh-pages this year, unless someone knows very well how to do it and wants to do it now? Most important anyway is that we have a place where it goes that people can find :)

I was thinking that we indeed use two repositories. This one as main internal co-operation one, in particular if the notebooks should be private in the end. But the pangeo github may serve as an intermediate saving github. Lets discuss this also in the beginning of the course. Two repos is better than none, and we can define the roles of both.

Ok! But both repos are public? I thought we go full open science this year with nothing private?

So far its indeed public, fine with me. Until a private wish is expressed, @pzieger ?.

It depends on the data people are planning to use and if the teachers want to publish their slides ;-) Can we have both (public and private space)?

Only if someone wants to do the github pages thing I think!

Or if not, making two repos, but that's a mess.
