Publishing the work as notebook plus annex, how to do it?

For the report from a given topic it is desirable to have a readable report plus annex for more details. Both could be based on two notebooks, which are linked .

How to link longer code to a more synthetic readable report?

Should the readable report be a pdf or html? How to do?

How can longer code fragments be put in a function, which could then be found in the annex?

Suggestion: It would be nice if you could elaborate a suggestion(=example) "during tomorrow". Maybe we can then have a small discussion with explanation of THE example on tuesday morning.
