I think this was included in the chemistry pull request? Or is it now the default only and still not an option? @DirkOlivie

Hi Øyvind, this was referring to the standard aerosol scheme, not to the full-chemistry (in the full chemistry this is the only option). The aim of this issue is to make for the aerosol-only scheme a suplimentary compset where one runs with volcanic SO2 emissions (it would not become the default). This has to be tested a bit (because one needs also OCS and its decay, and see whether the H2SO4 evolution in the stratosphere is ok when one uses OH climatologies), but it could go in a second phase of the NorESM2.3 release. So I suggest to leave it open for now. Best regards, Dirk
