Learn.knightlab.com is designed to help young people learning digital journalism and web making skills. It attempts to fill the space between basic
syntax tutorials like Codecademy and intense technical documentation. Lessons are written by students, for students, with a goal of keeping everything
accessible to new learners. Based at <a href="https://knightlab.northwestern.edu">Northwestern University Knight Lab</a>, our student fellows are the
primary authors of lessons.
</p>
<p>
The presentation and management of content on the Learn site was facilitated by Knight Lab staff and Medill faculty. The primary design of lessons was
developed by Zach Wise. Implementation of the content management system, including web components, was overseen by Joe Germuska. This site provides some
details about the system for the benefit of content authors or other curious parties.
</p>
<p>
Here's <a href="components/index.html">a guide to the web components</a> which help contain the complexity of custom styles and behaviors.
At some point, maybe we'll write some stuff about the Django part of things.
