In a September 2023 version built for functionality with AVANTES spectrometer, it seems that multiple collected spectra are being co-added rather than averaged. This causes the total counts in the saved spectra to be beyond the saturation limit of the AVANTES spectrometer (causing oversaturation in dark signal measurements and also causing the auto-calibration procedure to fail).
