Config Help

Hi,
I tried to do the configuration myself for several hours. Unfortunately, the message Failed to start the service is always displayed when starting. Two controllers are listed as Riing Quad in the debug / controller, even though they are Riing Trio fans. I would be very grateful for a standard configuration. Thanks in advance. Best regards

Instead of starting the service you can use console mode, it will output any errors with your config.
You didnt post the config so we cant tell you what is wrong with it.

You can browse the discussions for other already made configs, you will just have to use your port identifiers instead of theirs.

Ok, so your controller is having issues way before that time. Im suspecting bad controller that needs replacement, but few things to try yet.

Edit TTController.Service.exe.Config again and change:
<target xsi:type="File" name="file"
to
<target xsi:type="File" name="file" layout="${longdate}|${level:uppercase=true}|${logger}|${message}${onexception:|${exception:format=ToString}}"
Also keep the change i mentioned earlier.
Then clear the Logs folder and start the service for 3-5 minutes, stop it and post the Logs folder in a zip again.

Does this issue happen in official thermaltake TT RGB Plus software? You could test that, if the issue also happens then i think its 100% bad controller. Just make sure you dont run TTController and TT RGB Plus at the same time.

Hello Moshi,
yes I have also had this problem with the TT RGB Plus software that the fans freeze. It is then the RGB animation & the speed of the fans frozen. I have already tried several different controllers & the problem is still present. I suspect that a software or the Asus Z490 motherboard is causing problems.

The logs look fine this time, if this issue is also happening in TT RGB Plus then I would rule out software problem and focus on hardware. Either the controller is bad or the connection is bad.
Cant help with that sorry.

Okay, I have tried everything in the meantime. I will now switch to Corsair fans. Thank you for your help & efforts.
