Nigerian Car Plate

Hello, I need help with reading Nigerian plate numbers!!
Nigerian plate numbers have a lot of minor characters of less relevance making it challenging for the model to read the major characters.

I believe this code can read Nigerian plate numbers. I have tried playing around the parameters of the preprocess.py, detectChars.py but it still never reads a plate accurately.
What can be the problem and what can be done?
