Allowing local file upload

Thanks a bunch for the Chrome extension! I have a feature request for you.

Similar to the imgur Extension by Metronomik, is it possible to add an interface page that allows the user to upload local files by dragging them into the Chrome extension interface page?

These could be screenshots, music files or whatever else you support!

That should be possible. Anyone is welcome to pick this up, it'll be a while before I get to it. In the meantime, why not just go to https://mediacru.sh for the same effect :P

Nice. Thanks for the hint of just copy/pasting it to mediacru.sh!

What then in fact is just needed, is an extra button in the extensions bar that opens mediacru.sh in a new tab in order to quickly access it.

Or just bookmarking it but that perhaps depends on the individual workflow.

But still, you could provide the extensions bar button and people who don't need it, can just hide it.
