Crafting grid in a tablet w storage control module not working in other dimensions

I'm playing on a server that runs these version as part of AllTheMods6 modpack:

I use many modular storage connected to a storage scanner using xnet and have a tablet setup to access it remotely.
I noticed that the crafting grid in the tablet appears non-functional in other dimensions, it will display the recipes and the active recipe that was set before but won't allow you to insert a new recipe from JEI (this works when you're in the same dimension as the storage system though) or craft it after manually setting it up.
This is by far my most serious grievance as i have to calculate my recipes and take the correct amounts of material and a crafting table and do it by hand, or use waystones to get to the same dimension where i end up using the tablet while less than a chunk away from my storage system.

Naturally i expect the crafting grid to work in all dimensions if the tablet lets me access the storage there.
How to reproduce:
Setup storage scanner, bind to storage control screen module, insert module into tablet, go to other dimension, attempt to add a recipe (from jei) and craft it.
