Lost Cities Mod Issue Report

Environment

  • Mod: Lost Cities
  • Mod Version: 1.21-8.0.0
  • NeoForge Version: 21.0.46 Beta

Issue Description

When creating a new world with the "Only Cities" generation option selected for the overworld, the generated overworld does not match the expected outcome. The overworld contains a mix of normal terrain and cities, instead of exclusively urban environments. The Lost Cities dimension works correctly when configured properly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install NeoForge 21.0.46 Beta and Lost Cities 1.21-8.0.0
  2. Create a new world
  3. Select the "Only Cities" generation option for the overworld
  4. Load into the world

Expected Behavior

The overworld should consist entirely of urban environments.

Actual Behavior

The generated overworld contains a mixture of normal terrain and cities, similar to the default generation option.

Additional Notes

  • The dedicated Lost Cities dimension generates correctly as "Only Cities" when properly configured in the mod settings.
  • This behavior in the overworld is inconsistent with the "Only Cities" option description and functionality for overworld generation.
  • The issue appears to be specific to overworld generation when "Only Cities" is selected.

This seems to have been fixed as of 8.1.0

Seems so yeah. Odd, I've shut down my computer for the night but when I get a chance I'll check and see if it was a Neo change perhaps.
