Hi guys
TLDR;
Is it possible to make and show screenshots on timeline as Manic Time does?

image

Im searching thorugh internet for app which will

  • track active windows on linux
  • can be standalone/offline (no data sending anywhere without my permission)
  • will have screenshots feature as Manic Time

Manic Times is really expensive and i dont need any other of its features. So im looking for alternatives.

Hi,
this would be really useful indeed. Will add it at some point. Can't say it will happen soon.

Great! Glad to hear that. Just please remember that it is about taking screenshot of particular window not entire screen or particular monitor. I think its very important in multi-monitor setups where workspace can be huge and windows can be spread to multiple monitors.

Anyway fingers crossed :)

I don't really need screenshots. It's nice to have for me but I won't use it. My worry is it might slow down performance or use up a lot of harddisk space for screenshots that I don't need. The screenshots might also be a privacy issue if you screenshot internet browsers or documents for example.
