Better error handling

Consider the response of the application and how the user should be notified in the following scenarios:

• The server is temporarily down
• The server is permanently down
• The server is mis configured
• The server is overloaded
• The network is down for the client

If there is a possibility for user error (incorrectly entering the 'action domain' server), let the user know, clear the map signifying an error (except if there is a possibility of server side error), prompt the user to be notified on issue resolution.
