This is a Blog site where user can create blog, post, comment & like. ReactJS is used in front-end and Django is in back-end.

Setup

The first thing to do is to clone the repository:

$ git clone https://github.com/MahmudJewel/BlogWithLikeComment-DRF_Reactjs

Back-end

Create a virtual environment to install dependencies in and activate it:

$ cd backend
$ python -m venv venv
$ source venv/bin/activate

Then install the dependencies:

(venv)$ pip install -r requirements.txt

Note the (venv) in front of the prompt. This indicates that this terminal session operates in a virtual environment set up by virtualenv2.

Once pip has finished downloading the dependencies:

(venv)$ python manage.py migrate
(venv)$ python manage.py runserver 8000

Front-end

$ cd frontend
$ npm install
$ npm start
