I understand that should I be in a position to receive funds from MAGIC Grants for any reason, I will need to provide identifying information to the organization privately. Election to a committee does not guarantee compensation even if compensation is made available, since MAGIC Grants has legal limitations on how it can disburse funds.
I understand that an active committee is the number one factor in a Fund's success.
I am at least 18 years old.
Why you are a good candidate
I was the first recipient of a MAGIC monero grant. Having been on the other side of the grant process will allow me to provide unique insights to the other committee members. I’ve done a lot of outreach linking the academic community to the Monero research lab. For example, after reading Dr. Nathan Borggren’s papers I reached out informing him of MAGIC grants which he eventually applied for and received to study EAE attacks. I’ve organized multiple academics to discuss their works with the Monero research lab [Emanuele scala, Leonardo Mostarda, Julian loss, Liam eagen] I have been one of the main contributors, alongside Rucknium, to moneroreseach.info organizing monero related research papers in a single location. I’ve worked on side projects to enhance monero privacy in areas where I felt it was lacking.
What you hope the Fund will accomplish while you are on the committee
I hope to continue funding research in critical areas of monero development that increase privacy and usability. Additionally I hope to continue outreach to academia.

Regardless of whether I get elected, I'd love to hear your input on receiving a grant and where improvements are needed. Also how you successfully engaged with academics would be interesting to hear more about.
