Call web api on operator message

I'm integrating a external service, I managed to get receiving messages correctly by using the rest api, but I haven't found a way to call a third party service to send operator messages to the service.

I tried using bots, but coudn't get it to work.

Can I call a external service every time one operator sends a message on a chat?

I've looked into both of the examples, but it's not really clear how to use these into my problem. I'm trying to integrate a internal messages system, it's not one of those.

I've created a webhook for the event "chat.web_add_msg_admin", that calls a bot, and this bot has an rest api call, is this enough?

It doesn't seems to be triggering.

The bot is assigned to a department and the triggers set to "Always Execute" and Chat Start Behaviour to "Instant Execution"

These triggers option you wrote about has nothing to do with that. It works here so it's some of your internal issues.

Just make sure https://github.com/LiveHelperChat/livehelperchat/blob/master/lhc_web/settings/settings.ini.default.php#L80 this option is enabled
