Currently the AFP extension is completely unsupported.
Ideally I want to implement features using FPCR.NEP for when new hardware launches that supports it but currently the vixl simulator lacks this feature.
It would be nice if this could be added to the simulator so my project can be ready once future hardware launches.

I've looked into this, and NEP doesn't seem too hard, though the other parts of AFP might be. The latest generation of cores (Cortex-A520, Cortex-A720, Cortex-X4 - see https://developer.arm.com/documentation/102517/0001/The-Cortex-A520--core/Supported-standards-and-specifications?lang=en ) support AFP, so getting it working soon would be good.
I'm currently finishing GCS, then need to look at a little crypto, but I might be able to start NEP before the end of the year. No promises ;)
