I don't think it's legal to have more then the necessary cookies checked when customizing the cookies used.

At least not for pages accessible from the EU.

Thank you for raising this and my apologies for it not being looked at in all that time. We are currently deploying a new version of the website and I will ensure that this concern is addressed.
