Blind Signing Metamask + Ledger not working

Ledger Live Version and Operating System: 2.36.3
Ledger Nano X: 2.0.0
ETH App: 1.9.14
Platform and version: Mac 12.0.1
Metamask: 10.8.1
Browser: Chrome & Firefox

Expected behavior
Ledger Live should allow blind TX signing via Metamask.

Actual behavior
MetaMask - RPC Error: Please enable Blind signing or Contract data in the Ethereum app Settings

Steps to reproduce the behavior
Execute any contract TX via Metamask connected to a Ledger Nano X and blind signing

Anybody knowing how to fix this?
Of course I enabled blind signing, also turned it off and back on, tried with different browsers, different connection types between Metamask and Ledger etc.
