Reviewing shows "X/X and Y/Y complete" (e.g. "3/3 & 4/4").

Can anyone confirm this is an issue? Does it happen in any other zones?

this happens when the levels are out of range of the player. like I have a 75 cap server, my players often try to overcamp and fight these post 75 mobs that I did not delevel see..so then the page doesn't work.

So the "target level range" is for the player, not the mobs? Is this how it's always been? Is it retail behavior?

I'm level 75 doing "Mouriches" and "Moss Eaters" in Boyahda. I thought that any EXP-giving mobs always counted toward the pages?

BTW: is it possible/easy to "delevel" mobs? I play on a 75-cap also, and would really like to get rid of those random 80+ mobs in older zones (e.g. Gusgen)--or at least make them not aggro. Is that a possibility?

Okay, guess I didn't realize there was a distinction between "replies" and "answers".

Who wrote the "compare" function? With all the changes that have been happening lately to try to "reflect retail more accurately," it seems like this is something that should be verified on retail before changing.

More importantly though: it shouldn't work at all if the levels are too far apart. This works, but just doesn't auto-repeat. Also: my level 65 character (within the 62-67 range) also experiences the failure to repeat.

Re: delevel: I'll have to ask whasf to learn about this setting--it'd be great to go back to "safe" lower level zones--especially on an "era" server.

my apologies; since most titles tend to be..well bad..I had recently started skipping right over them mentally and didn't realize it was just repeats failing. So nothing I said was helpful / relevant regarding that.

dunno, ancient code. would have to dig. Hell I'm not even sure whats done without opening it now lol.

Hey JinxDojo, I tracked the issue and sent a message to server admin. It was affecting all zones with books. One of the updates added a line for book exp in the main.lua but that file is in scripts/settings/default, while the active one used by the server (holding any server specific changes) is in scripts/settings. Without manually updating the 2nd 'main.lua' it stopped the book pages from rewarding completion experience and from repeating.

Thank you for fixing this. Unfortunately, it seems to have reared its ugly head again. Can you confirm it's still a problem? Does the server admin need to manually update something again??
