I would like a setting to preview notes while placing them, as I can't tell what notes sound like without hearing them.
For example, I turn the setting on, then I place a note, and as I press up/down, it sounds what that note would be like.
I currently have to press keys on a virtual piano and figure out what note it is.

By "virtual piano", I mean VMPK

But Flizzer tracker doesn't support this thing, you need to manually change the base note in instrument editor to listen how it sounds on that note

But when the base note is C-4, the notes sound the same (pressing G-3 on VMPK sounds like G-3 on Flizzer Tracker)

I still don't understand how you use VMPK with Flizzer tracker

Press key on VMPK until I get the note I want, then I enter it into the tracker. If I press a key and it's G-4, I put G-4 into the tracker. I can make a video later if you want.

Ah, I thought somebody made a fork with this functionality built in.

Well, regarding the note playback, right now and till the end of December I have a big course project so most probably I won't be able to add this
