Comments
I got this problem as well. |
Thanks for confirming. Did it also occur suddenly on your device? |
i got the same problem aswell |
Also, looking at the logs I am wondering why LNReader seems to try to access my clipboard or am I misreading things here?
|
LNReader does require Clipboard access for |
Thanks for clarifying. |
Yes, suddenly this error started popping up every time I opened the app. It seems to be fixed in 1.1.18, it's working fine now. |
There's a bug in app's v1.1.17's New Update Dialog which is causing the app to crash. Updating the app manually to v1.1.18 should resolve it. This has been fixed in v1.1.18 so it should not happen again on a new release. |
Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
open ln reader, read as usual
Actual behavior
I open ln reader and it immediately crashes.
LNReader version
1.1.172099217
Android version
Android 13
Device
Xiaomi 9T Pro
Other details
I am a long-time user of LN reader, I actually read just a few hours ago.
All of a sudden, when I opened it, it simply crashes.
I am trying to figure out what could have changed (updates, etc. ) on my side.
Here is the error message as screenshot.
Right before submitting this report, I noticed version 1.1.18 was released a few hours ago so I installed it and my problem is fixed.
Not expecting any outcome from this ticket, just wanted to submit it in case it helps you debug or improve something. Feel free to directly close it if it doesn't.
Here is the logcat output filtered by "lnreader"
