🔥 Your Pitch
The smart ambulance is an initiative to deteriorate the mortality rate due to road accidents. Approximately 1.35 million people die each year as a result of road traffic crashes. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development has set an ambitious target of halving the global number of deaths and injuries from road traffic crashes by 2020. Road accidents cost most countries 3% of their gross domestic product. Road deaths in India increased to nearly 1.49 lakh in 2018 with Uttar Pradesh registering the maximum spike in fatalities. Even on the encounter of an accident, bystanders waste time by clicking videos of the scene.
Our technology aims at decreasing the mortality rate due to road accidents. The main idea is to use a shock sensor above the radiator of the vehicle or a pressure sensor in the airbag such that on the encounter of a shock, the sensors will report the GPS module to fetch the geo-coordinates which will be relayed to the ambulance server. The server will search for the nearest ambulance at the shortest distance and report it for the rescue operation through an application.

Due to lack of hardware sensor, we were not able to practically implement our project on azure cognitive services and IoT Hub.
