want to know what's the custom status bar app in the first demo video?

If you are referring to the recent development video on yt, then that is an ongoing project for a built-in status bar in Komorebi, written in the Rust programming language.

I imagine that there will be more videos like that and at some point, it will be ready to be released alongside Komorebi. Which means that you only need to install Komorebi, no need for a separate status bar app.

Currently I know of 2 separate status bar apps that support Komorebi, called Zebar and yasb ( and a very active fork of yasb )

Edit: AH, you are most likely referring to the "Demonstrations" section. It's from @amnweb who is working on the yasb fork I mentioned above. Visit discord for more on that 😉
