Can we have the option to allow the RibbonAppButton menu drop-down to fill up the entire client area of the form, similar to how it's done in Office 2010 and above.

Can we have the option to allow the RibbonAppButton menu drop-down to fill up the entire client area of the form, similar to how it's done in Office 2010 and above.

I think this should be an option as for all menu's - i.e. BackStageView
And should start in the ext toolkit first, because the "designer experience" will be a bit of a mare to start with.

Hasn't the BackStageView already been requested ?
And, would it not just be a "NavBarControl's groups can be displayed as an Office Navigation Bar's items" ?

Would the entire Ribbon code need to be copied over to here, just in case there's some internal classes?

No, As Backstage is a type of control.
And at some point, I think there was a request to be able to embed "Any" control into the KMenu.
So this should "Just Work" for the ribbon menu as well.
