The main drawback of the mod is the extremely cheap, ultimate melee weapon.

I propose to introduce two levels of melee weapons:
Level 1: Weapon made from inactive nanites. Current recipe, but reduced stats. Normal volume (because this weapon cannot be stacked), same weight. The DPS of the sword is slightly higher than that of the broadsword, the knife has a higher RM42 fighting knives. But lower than that of monomolecular CBM. Reduce crafting time to 2-5 seconds.

Level 2: Weapon made of active nanites. current characteristics. A more expensive recipe that requires an AI core. Possibility to wear on hand:

"armor_data": { "covers": [ "arm_either" ], "encumbrance": 0 },
"flags": [ "BELTED","SEMITANGIBLE", ...

The object seems to spread over the hand.
Ideally, the ability to transform sword->spear->hammer

If my idea is interesting, I am ready to take on a change.

@AquiloSpiritus I like your idea, if you believe that you can do JSON additions yourself, go ahead, if that's too much work for you, I will try to work on this when I can hopefully
