[FAR v0.7.0.23] Massive impact on framerate #109

I have graphic crash with far and without far so I don't know how to resolve that 🤔 |
Kaldaien is not monitoring the Issues section of GitHub. I recommend you post in the FAR main thread if you haven't, as you'll have a better shot at reaching him there. In the meanwhile you could try an older version of FAR. I believe FAR 0.7.0.11 was the latest version available for 3-4 months once, and I don't seem to remember any major issues with that version. There's also 0.7.0.14 which might work better as well. If both of those fail then you could also downgrade all the way to 0.6.x.y as well, which relied on dxgi.dll as the injection entry and not dinput8.dll as 0.7.0.x did. |
Reopening this issue so it remains in the list in the rare case that someone wants to use this old copy of FAR. |
The current version of FAR is killing the framerate. It averages 39fps with any graphical configuration, even with GI turned off. For comparison, I have uninstalled FAR and I can maintain a 60fps average. But running Nier Automata without FAR causes video card driver crashes for me, so I had to roll back to an older version of FAR.
