Describe the solution you'd like

The idea was that the first screen has a list of regions.

The user's current location is automatically determined by the phone location

Users are not asked to enter anything

A list of nearby regions shows - this can be the list of all regions, just sorted by distance, limited to 20 or 30.

There's no map or ability to enter your location here.
