• 18-03-08 - discussion of use for Neo4j for gene pair hits or with ES index

  • after careful consideration we agreed that there is potential to encode everything but sentences in neo4j, which might improve performance and potential further applications such as nontrivial (distant) relationships between gene pairs
  • however, due to time constraints we stay with the minimal version for what needs to be done for version 1.0
    • Sascha will concentrate on google charts to help Erik concentrate on backend matter that he knows best
