stream hash creation lag #74

in the gui when choosing to check or create stream hashes we get the normal CLI message "Generating video and audio stream hashes. This may take a moment..." and then nothing happens for about 4-5 min, it just hangs until the "FFmpeg 'streamhash' Progress: %" calculator kicks in starting at 0%

What is happening during the 4-5min of "hang time"? Anything? If something, can we get CLI feedback on it?

I'm not getting this lag on my machine. Does this happen on multiple devices?
