Updating MODS doesn't trigger Islandora's MODS to DC transform (original)

Upon successful MODS find and replace operation, Islandora's MODS to DC transform isn't triggered. Results in out of sync, stale DC, non-reflective of MODS update.

tested and reproduced this issue--even with the Form Builder "Use Default DC XSLTs" settings checkbox checked (this is supposed to trigger regeneration of the DCs when the source datastream is updated)
