What kind of user is the feature intended for?
(Example users roles: API User, Curator, Depositor, Guest, Superuser, Sysadmin)
API User, Curator, Depositor, Guest, Superuser, Sysadmin
What inspired the request?
Folks from DataCite announced DataCite Metadata Schema 4.6 recently. One of the changes they mention in their blog post is that CSTR (Common Science and Technology Resources) has been added to the schema's relatedIdentifierType list. So when repositories use this latest version of the DataCite metadata schema, they can include information about research objects that are identified with CSTRs and are related to the research object that they're publishing.
What existing behavior do you want changed?
"Out of the box", Dataverse should include such information in its DataCite metadata exports. This can be done once Dataverse starts using the 4.6 version of the DataCite schema or a later version.
Any open or closed issues related to this feature request? #8838 about when CSTR was added to Dataverse's Relation Publication Identifier Type list
