There are ongoing discussions for removing the FamilyMemberHistoryForGeneticsAnalysis from the core FHIR model. Our IG was considered as a candidate for hosting the use case either based on the current implementation in the existing profile or some variation of it. I am not sure if we can also consider approaches other than profiling FamilyMemberHistory.
