Please add an additional command under the Port tab: 'show optic'
There is one caveat about this command. This command doesn't let you specify the individual port but instead asks for a Slot number instead. As such, if someone was to press 'show optic' on ethernet 3/1, the command would need to run as 'show optic 3'

In order for the port selection to specify the required slot, we'll need to do a little work on the backend. We can track that work here.
If the command is needed right away, it can be added by adding a slot number parameter to the show optic command in access_policy.xml. The user would then manually specify the slot number.
This isn’t a critical request. I’d rather not require the end-user provide the module number, so rather than that, we can wait for this feature until a later date.
