   sudo geni-manage-maintenance --set-outage \

   sudo geni-manage-maintenance --clear-alert
   

2. Shutdown and Snapshot

1. Disable apache service

1. Start DNS transition

• ch.geni.net: 52.207.161.119
• portal.geni.net: 54.80.225.141

1. Export databases

AWS Portal & Clearinghouse

1. Snapshot both AWS hosts
