nix-mx in Linux

The nix-mx package seems to be available only on Windows or Mac. Are there plans to make this available to Linux users? Thanks!

I think it used to work on Linux too, but I am not sure. I vaguely remember that there were some issues with loading of HDF5 libraries because nix is using those but Matlab also does. Maybe we never gotten around to doing a static build of nix on Linux? @fabaroni, you could try and see how far you get, or where the blockers are.
