Describe the bug
I was playing a VC Inject of FireRed that I installed from a .cia I found on Reddit. After some shenanigans (trying to mod a FireRed ROM with Hard Reset, generating a new .cia with NSUI, installing, realizing the soft reset works and I was pressing the wrong buttons), I ended up generating a new .cia with a vanilla copy of FireRed for aesthetic reasons (the banner on the Reddit .cia was formatted wrong).
The issue? When I tried to upload the backup save from the first FireRed install into the second one by adding an extra save, the save file would load fine in PKSM but when I press the "upload" button (whatever that symbol is in the bottom left), the game would load without the save data. With "Automatically backup on load" enabled, PKSM would make a copy of the save file I'm trying to use and store it in the correct /3ds/PKSM/backups folder for the Title ID I set, so the issue seems to be in the "upload" function when starting the game from PKSM.
I WAS able to work around this by injecting the save data with GodMode9, but I am under the impression that this should be possible through PKSM. If this is not how the backup system works in PKSM, then I'll just have to use GodMode9 in the future.
(also, what are the two buttons on the bottom of the touch screen supposed to be? I can't find any mention of them in the Wiki and the one on the right doesn't seem to do anything)
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Preset: Title ID for FireRed set to one of the VC Inject installs
2. Back up save on one install of FireRed
3. Change Title ID to ID of second install
4. Add save through Extra Save menu
5. Load save (backup of save is made when "Automatically backup on load" is enabled)
6. Click "upload" button on bottom left of touch screen
7. Game starts, check if save data was uploaded correctly
Expected behavior
When the save data is "uploaded", the game should recognize the newly uploaded data regardless of previous save data present.
