Convert the project to pyqt.

This is a large work. You can work on one particular functionality and send a pr for that. Please comment on which part of the project you would like to work on and send a PR for it.

Also let us know which part will you be working on. You can either make the entire UI for the project in one pr, and continue with the linking it to backend in another one.
Or you can start with the first screen and implement the front end and backend for that screen completely. Subsequent work for other sections can be continued on that in form of separate prs.
