How to make ores spawn on specific dimension, both for vanilla and modded

i want to know if theres a way to make tweak ores in a specific dimension, i know its possible to tweak ores on other dimensions other than overworld since in those dimensions there are blocks that are specific to that dimension, however i want to know if its possible to tweak ores on other dimensions even if there are blocks that arent specific for that dimension, for example, specifing the dimension on the .json
