MultiMc Settings are where you can change things about the application and global settings (like java install and memory settings) WARNING: Global Minecraft and Java settings affect settings of ALL instances. Use wisely.

Features Tab

Update Settings

Here you can set whether or not you want MultiMC to check for updates when it starts, & choose what channel to check for updates from. There are currently three channels to choose from Stable, Development.

Folder locations

Here you can set the locations for Instances, Mods, & Icons. Please note that all of these folders are used, for example, forge is downloaded to the mods folder.

User Interface

Multimc Notification

From this you can reset hidden notifications.

Language

This here allows you to change what language MultiMC is in, the default for it is English.

Sort Instances

You can sort your instances by last launched or by thier name.

Icon theme

Here you can select the icon theme of MultiMC, here are the current ones

  • Simple dark

  • Simple light

  • Simple light (with Dark theme)

  • Simple blue

  • Simple colored

  • OSX

  • IOS

Colours

You can change the colour(Theme) of the MultiMc launcher Currently there are 4 options

  1. Bright
  2. Light
  3. System (puts on the system theme)
  4. Custom

Console

Console Settings

Here you can set the set when the Minecraft console settings.

Console fonts

You can change how the texts in the console look, there is even some text there for you to see what it looks like.

History Limiter

This is used to set a log history limiter i.e. it deletes log lines that is beyond the limit. (This is used to contain the size of the log files)

Analytics

You can uncheck this option to opt out.
