Change Font to Century Gothic #11
Comments
CG in woff format obtained here in regular, italic, bold and bold italic: https://fontsfree.pro/base-web-fonts/sans-serif-grotesque/493-century-gothic.html However, I note that it says here that commercial use requires a license. https://www.fontforestry.com/century-gothic-font-free-download/

In the theme's settings, there is basically the choice between Serif and Sans-serif fonts (although there called "Elegant serif" and "Modern sans-serif" respectively). I've just switched the sans-serif Mulish font for Century Gothic. This is the default. |
Actually, I see the wireframe uses Nimbus too? |
Nimbus fonts in woff format here: https://en.bestfonts.pro/font/nimbus-sans Libre/gratis, although site asks for donation. |
Only one the header image for Nimbus |
Could you use Open Sans Light please in replacement for where the century gothic should be @wu-lee |
Menu seems to be Nimbus, correct? I can add the Nimbus, but make sure that is a definite requirement. To use it on the menu requires more work, bcause I have to replumb the theme's styles. At the moment he theme is designed to have two font settings, one for content, one for titles. (It just has two choices of font, as we saw.) Menu is same font as for content I think. All I did so far was replace one font for Century Gothic, a relatively minimal change to the theme design. Header text are currently only on the 3-column feeds. Adding them for the feature image may need hardwiring the text and image(s), as there's a limit to the number of things which can have a UI element in the config screens. |
Conformation from Mel - CG can stay, only concern was licensing, Menus can also be CG. Only requirement for Nimbus is in image overlay captions, which will be incorprated into images for now. |
