Hi @riteshsingh1 ,

First off - this has been a great initiative on your part! 🤠

However, I feel that this is more oriented towards an individual rather than an organization.

As as organization we'd like to move over to a more scalabale env management solution based on Conda and Ammonite

The point of this is that we have a setup which is

  1. Cross platform ( Linux / Windows / macOS )
  2. Reproducible and Automated ( Just run a simple script after initial install )
  3. Language agnostic ( Python / JVM langs / PHP / Perl / Go / JS etc - all good)
  4. Capable of being dockerized ( due to conda )

The point of using ammonite is that, since almost all tools have a pure java version for eg. jGit a Pure Java Git implementation we can easily setup and manage our dotFiles.

I'm a member / contributor for Conda-forge and fairly familiar with BioConda.

I'm looking forward to collaborate, let me know how I could be of help 😄
