Booting the Windows autoinstaller nukes the entire disk. This is suboptimal if one has some data there.

Instruct the installers to not repartition the disk and just use free space for installation. On Windows, during manual installation, one can click on the empty disk space to put Windows there. No need for manual partitioning.
