If you drop anything on the ground as a loose item, saving+loading will make them disappear entirely.
This bug wasn't present before, that I can recall.
Actually, thinking about it, I'm not sure I really tested this much; I did so much to avoid actually saving to have a blank slate to go back to by intentionally crashing the game, that I'm not sure this really came up.
It's possible the items might actually be there, except they seemed to vanish from the object list after being loaded once.
Half seems to imagine they fall in to the ocean after loading, but why would that only affect full save/reloads?

Possibly fixed? I moved the interior storage location back to the original Hamlet position, way further outside the map, and it seems to be okay. Only downside is... way less concurrent interiors before objects start disappearing beyond what seems to be hardcoded limits.
