Sadly Chrome offers no way of accessing the query URLs of configured search engines so you may have to specify your own.<br>
You can find your personal settings over at <code>chrome://settings/searchEngines</code>.<br>
This extension takes the query URL and replaces the characters <code><b class="highlight-code">%s</b></code> with your processed query.<br>
Take a look at these example queries from big search engines:
</p>
<ul>
<li><code>https://www.google.com/search?q=<b class="highlight-code">%s</b></code></li>
<li><code>https://www.bing.com/search?q=<b class="highlight-code">%s</b></code></li>
<li><code>https://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?p=<b class="highlight-code">%s</b></code></li>
<li><code>https://www.ecosia.org/search?q=<b class="highlight-code">%s</b></code></li>
<li><code>https://duckduckgo.com/?q=<b class="highlight-code">%s</b></code></li>
</ul>
