The design of WindowMoniker has been simplistic and minimalistic in order to not get in the way of the important things on screen. Regardless there may arise times when an edge needs to be hidden for a time.

Hide an edge when the Ctl key is held down and the mouse is hovered over an edge. The Edge reappears when the mouse leaves the Edge region.

Hide an edge for 60 seconds if Alt is held while the edge is clicked (LMB).

Add a hide/reveal option to the context menu. One edge must always be visible, though may be hidden via the above keyboard modifier method.
